HVAC maintenance heating and air conditioning service is important, but it’s easy to forget about performing maintenance on your HVAC before the season starts. Lack of routine maintenance accounts for many of the unit failures that we see throughout the year. By purchasing a maintenance agreement, we can ensure that your equipment is ready for summer and winter before the season starts which extends the life of your unit and prevents HVAC emergencies during peak season.

Air Conditioning Maintenance
As system checkups are the backbone of the Premier Customer Agreement, we recommend that you schedule preventive maintenance for your cooling system during the spring months so that your equipment can be inspected, cleaned, and adjusted before the weather heats up. Typical use during one summer can result in an efficiency decrease of approximately five percent. This is often due to the buildup of dirt on condenser coils, but other issues can crop up to compound that decrease in efficiency. Our technicians will check:
Refrigerant Level Inspection | Shaft Bearings |
Voltage | Capacitors |
Blowers | Thermostat |
Blower Motor | Amperage |
Fan Motor | Condenser Coil |
Condensate Drain | Belts |
Filter Check | Contractor |
If any parts are broken or worn out, our team will make the necessary recommendations and fixes that will bring your system back up to manufacturer specifications.
Heating Maintenance
The type of heating system in place will determine the steps needed to optimize your equipment. Although a heat pump is inspected in the spring for cooling performance, an additional tuneup is recommended during the winter months for heating functions. Your fall preventive maintenance checkup will include:
Belts | Heat Strips | Induced Draft Motor |
Filter | Fan Control | Temperature Rise |
Pilot | Shaft Bearing | Unit Safeties |
Blower | Limit Control | Thermocouple |
Burners | Furnace Wiring | Blower Motor |
Heat Exchanger | Flue Pipes | Thermostat |
